This Sunday, April 3, 2022, Hungarians go to the polls for the legislative elections.

Serbs vote in general elections.

In Hungary, Viktor Orban, the ultra-conservative Prime Minister is seeking a fourth term in the face of a united opposition.

In Serbia, President Aleksandar Vucic and his progressive party hope for a new plebiscite.

In these two countries, one a member of the European Union, the other a candidate for EU membership, both close to Moscow, the war in Ukraine has completely upset the countryside.
