Britain recalls products from Kinder chocolate eggs for children after suspected contamination

The British Food Standards Agency (FSA) revealed details of the recall of Kinder chocolate egg products as a precaution, along with warning consumers who purchased the product to avoid eating it and return it to the purchase store.

According to the Daily Express, the Food Standards Agency recalled Kinder Surprise products due to the possibility of salmonella, explaining that its affected products were only detected in Belgium.

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) advised consumers: "If you buy Kinder Surprise, do not eat it, preferably before: All dates between July 11, 2022 and October 7, 2022."

Ferrero Chocolates also issued an official statement regarding the recall saying: "We are voluntarily recalling select batches of Kinder Surprise as a precautionary step, as we have become aware of a possible link to a number of reported cases of Salmonella."
