As April 15-16 is a public holiday, the deadline for submitting nomination forms is April 14 at 5pm.

  Any Hong Kong permanent resident who is a Chinese citizen, has no foreign right of abode, has reached the age of 40, and has ordinarily resided in Hong Kong for a continuous period of not less than 20 years is eligible to be nominated as a candidate.

  The nomination of each candidate shall be made by not less than 188 Election Committee members, which shall include not less than 15 Election Committee members from each of the five constituencies of the Election Committee.
