In the early stage of free vaccination for residents, there were few new coronavirus vaccine manufacturers and insufficient production capacity, and the contradiction between supply and demand worldwide was very prominent.
The National Medical Insurance Administration insisted on taking epidemic prevention and control as the top priority, and repeatedly communicated and coordinated with domestic vaccine manufacturers. In the first round, the purchase price of inactivated vaccines was reduced to no more than 90 yuan per dose, which was generally lower than the international price provided by enterprises.

At the same time, cooperate with relevant departments to coordinate vaccine production enterprises with strong production capacity and large supply to provide 600 million doses of vaccines for free, so as to urge them to fulfill their social responsibilities.
Recently, the National Medical Insurance Bureau has once again organized negotiations with enterprises, and the new negotiated price has been reduced to a lower level.

A: At present, my country has vaccinated 3.2 billion doses of vaccines, and the cost of vaccines is more than 120 billion yuan, which is shared by the medical insurance fund and the finance.
It is precisely because the vaccination funds and other aspects are guaranteed in place that among the world's most populous countries, my country's vaccination rate is the fastest and the coverage is the widest.
