The "Maedachi Honzon Relocation Ceremony" held at Zenkoji is a ceremony to welcome the "Maedachi Honzon" to the main hall once every seven years as a substitute for the main idol of the secret Buddha.
The "Maedachi Honzon" that was placed in the kitchen was placed on the mikoshi from the normally enshrined Daikanjin Temple, and was carried to the main hall by men in white costumes.
Then, the monks turned the mikoshi in the main hall, yelling "wasshoi", and then moved to the "inner camp" in the back.
After that, a memorial service was held in front of the main hall, and the symbol of the Kaichō, which was tied to the "Maedachi Honzon" with a rope, was to be opened to the public.
However, the white cloth that wraps the pillars was difficult to remove even if the string was pulled, and when the ladder was finally taken out and the cloth was finally removed, many worshipers gave a peaceful voice and applause.
At Zenkoji, the door of the kitchen where the "Maedate Honzon" is stored will be opened at the morning affair that will be held from 6 am on the 3rd, and the opening of the book will begin for nearly 3 months until June 29.
