The wars of influence are raging.

They have become the new geopolitical norm.

The powers seize it to push their pawns, impose a narrative and win support as we see with the conflict in Ukraine.

Look at these wars of another type made of manipulation, sometimes nuisance, even intimidation.

Has influence replaced power as the key to deciphering the game of international relations?

Do authoritarian regimes have more influence than democracies?
