Drama crises began with the first hours of the blessed month of Ramadan. The Supreme Council for Media Regulation in Egypt decided on Saturday to stop the first episode of the series “Donya Tania” starring Laila Elwi and shown in the current month of Ramadan because it contains immoral scenes.
The council said that the producers of the series did not obtain a permit from the censorship of artistic works, and decided to broadcast it by fraud, in addition to containing immoral scenes.
He also stressed that he demanded all channels that have the right to show not to broadcast any unlicensed work.
He also stressed that he will not hesitate to apply the standards contained in the announced media code, and will apply the texts contained in his law in the event of a violation that includes stopping the radio until the license of the channel itself is withdrawn if it persists in violations.
