Qinghai Hoh Xil, a national nature reserve in China, is also included in the World Heritage List.

In this seemingly desolate land, it is a paradise for wild animals. There are rare wild animals such as Tibetan antelope, wild yak, Tibetan wild ass, and Tibetan antelope. It is a place where the original ecological environment is relatively well preserved.

In Hoh Xil in the past, poaching of wild animals occurred frequently, but since 2006, there has been no poaching gunshots here, and the protection level of Tibetan antelope has been downgraded from endangered species to near-threatened species.

Today, the Hoh Xil National Nature Reserve has also been integrated into the Hoh Xil Management Office of the Yangtze River Source Park of Sanjiangyuan National Park, entering a new era of national park governance.
