On March 31, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage announced the final review results of the "Top Ten New Archaeological Discoveries in China in 2021".

Including Sichuan Daocheng Piluo Site, Henan Nanyang Huangshan Site, Hunan Lixian Jijiao City Site, Shandong Tengzhou Gangshang Site, Sichuan Guanghan Sanxingdui Site Sacrificial Area, Hubei Yunmeng Zhengjiahu Cemetery, Shaanxi Xi'an Jiangcun Tomb, Gansu Wuwei Tang Dynasty Tuyuhun The tombs of the royal family, the Yulikeyakkuduke beacon site in Xinjiang, and the Mingzhongdu site in Fengyang, Anhui (in order of age).

The time span of the top ten archaeological selected projects is as long as 130,000 years, and important new discoveries and new achievements are abundant, providing scientific basis and physical evidence for the study of human origin and evolution, and the origin, formation and development of Chinese civilization.
