On March 31, the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau of Jiangning District, Nanjing organized a fishery resource proliferation and release activity. 1.06 million fish fry were released to the Jiangning section of the Yangtze River to further promote the restoration of aquatic species resources in the Yangtze River and improve the ecological environment of the Yangtze River waters.
[Explanation] At the site of the proliferation and release activities, 60,000 mullet, 500,000 silver carp, and 500,000 bighead carp, which have undergone strict quarantine and testing, were successively delivered to the riverside by special fry transport vehicles, and placed in batches in the Jiangning section of the Yangtze River .

[Explanation] It is reported that Jiangning District, Nanjing City has a coastline of 19.08 kilometers of the Yangtze River.
In order to improve and optimize the water community structure, supplement the Yangtze River fishery germplasm resources, and restore the Yangtze River water ecological environment, the area has carried out proliferation and release activities for many years, with an average annual release of 50 million to 70 million fish fry.
