Chris Rock was expected at the turn.

After the event that shook all of Hollywood last Sunday, the whole world was wondering how the victim of "The Slap", or "La Gifle", would react during his first appearance on stage as part of his

Ego Death

tour in Boston.

Determined not to disappoint, the comic obviously did not evade the question.

He even tackled it head-on from the start of the show.

" How was your week-end ?

I don't have a lot of bullshit to say about what happened, so if you came to hear this, I have an entire show I wrote before this weekend.

I'm still digesting what happened.

But at some point, I'm going to talk about that bullshit.

And it will be serious and funny, ”he told the crowd, laughing at the end of each of his sentences.

“We love you”, and “J’emme* de Will Smith”, can we hear at one point, as shown by an audio extract from the show, broadcast by Deadline.

Not spoken yet

Contrary to the allegations of some stars, like Diddy, who claimed that the two stars had reconciled, Chris Rock claims not to have spoken "to anyone, despite what you may have heard".

The comedian must stay in Boston until Friday, before going to Atlantic City for the rest of his tour.

Will he have had time to write new sketches on "The Slap"?

Either way, the comedy hype is enough to have boosted ticket sales for his show.

The resale site, StubHub, for example, announced that sales had increased 25 times since last Sunday.

If the slap hurt Chris Rock's ego, it could in any case give a boost to his career (which was already going very well before in the United States) internationally.
