Xiangshui, commonly known as Nanqu, as the mother river of Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, nurtured, protected and nourished the ancient city of Xiangyang.
In order to regenerate the "Mother River", reproduce its clear water, green banks and beautiful scenery, and inherit the historical context of Xiangyang, Xiangyang City has launched the Xiangshui Coastline Restoration Ecological Improvement Project.
On March 28, at the construction site of Xiangshuiyuan Scenic Area, the first phase of the Xiangshui Coastline Restoration Ecological Improvement Project, nearly 100 construction workers were finishing greening and other finishing work.
At present, the main body of Xiangshuiyuan Scenic Spot has been completed.
On the basis of retaining the original large mounds and dense forests, the Xiangshuiyuan Scenic Area widens the embankments, builds dams, and forms a stepped pond wetland landform.
At the same time, the Xiangshuiyuan Scenic Spot has newly built ecological parking lots, ecological toilets, Xiangyuan Post Station and other service facilities to provide convenience for citizens to visit the park in the countryside.
