　　On March 29, a press conference on the establishment of the Sanxingdui National Cultural Relics Protection and Utilization Demonstration Zone was held in Guanghan, Sichuan.

Tang Fei, director of the Sichuan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, revealed at the meeting that the next step in the excavation of the Sanxingdui site will focus on the remains of the sacrificial area. Targeting at the settlement structure of the Sanxingdui city site, the archaeological excavation in the Moon Bay area will be carried out.
