According to information from our colleagues from the newspaper "Le Parisien", TF1 is seriously considering a return to the cult musical reality show "Star Academy", more than 20 years after its arrival on the air.

The emblematic program of the 2000s could return as soon as September begins.

More than 20 years after its debut, the

Star Academy

should make its big comeback on television.

The information has not yet been formalized by TF1, but

Le

Parisien

reveals that the channel plans to relaunch this program which made Jenifer or Nolwenn Leroy known next school year.

The cult show of the 2000s was the very first musical reality show broadcast in France.

After eight seasons on TF1 and one season on NRJ12, the show ended in 2013.

Nikos in pairs, dailies and bonuses

Le Parisien

is already revealing the outlines of this new season.

No a priori

surprise

at the presentation of this new season: Nikos Aliagas is of course strongly expected to take over the reins of this program which launched his career in 2001. The little novelty is that the host should be accompanied by a co-host .

His identity is not yet known.

As in the first seasons of the program, this new formula should keep a daily broadcast and weekly prime time.

But all the cast of teachers should be renewed.

This new season of

Star Academy

will follow the show's three anniversary evenings which were broadcast on TF1 last fall and which had good scores, especially among women responsible for purchases under 50 years old.
