Last year, the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office dismissed a 47-year-old member of the Liberal Democratic Party, Shunsuke Takei, who was sent documents for not having liability insurance for his car.

In June last year, Senator Takei was sent a document on suspicion of violating the Automobile Liability Insurance Law, alleging that the car owned by himself and driven by a former policy secretary did not have liability insurance.

As a result of the investigation, the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office dismissed the lawmaker due to insufficient suspicion on the 30th.

On the other hand, regarding the car owned by a member of the Diet, a former policy secretary who was driving was also sent a document in June last year, saying that he had an accident in contact with a bicycle crossing the road in Minato-ku, Tokyo. On the 30th, the prosecutor's office briefly charged the former secretary with negligent driving injuries.
