The baccalaureate exams are approaching.

For some students at the Martin-Luther-King high school in Bussy-Saint-Georges (Seine-et-Marne), concern is growing.

Since the beginning of the year, they have faced a lack of teachers, reports BFMTV.

Some classes did not have philosophy lessons for four months or economics lessons for a whole term.

A petition launched

Some have organized themselves: private lessons, group work, purchase of annals.

"Philosophy is coeff 8, we are coeff 16 for economics, so it's a huge coeff which can have an important role in the overall mark of the baccalaureate", explained to our colleagues a final year student .

Lana and Thomas, in their final year at Martin-Luther-King high school, have launched a petition to cancel the baccalaureate philosophy tests, following the prolonged absence of their teacher and his non-replacement.
