The Egyptian judiciary says its word against the curcumin doctor

Today, the Cairo Economic Court issued a decision against the accused pharmacist Ahmed Abu Al-Nasr, known in the media as the curcumin doctor, during his sentencing hearing, which states that he will be imprisoned for two years and obligated to pay a fine of 100,000 pounds;

He was accused of several cases related to selling and promoting medicines unlicensed by the Ministry of Health.

The accused pharmacist, Ahmed Abu Al-Nasr, the curcumin doctor, was absent from today's session to pronounce his verdict, in the cases in which he was accused, but a number of his family members were keen to attend the session, in order to follow up on the sentence issued against him.

According to the newspaper "Al-Watan"

Earlier, the Public Prosecution decided to refer the accused pharmacist Ahmed Abu Al-Nasr, who is known in the media as the Curcumin Doctor, to an urgent criminal trial.

He was accused in several cases of selling medicines and medical supplies of unknown origin and not authorized by the Egyptian Ministry of Health, in addition to impersonating a doctor while he was originally not registered in the Physicians Syndicate.

Pharmacist Ahmed Abu Al-Nasr was arrested earlier, by the men of the works, after receiving information and investigations stating that he possessed medicines of unknown origin, not licensed by the Ministry of Health, in addition to his promotion of them through several television channels, with the aim of making a financial profit.
