Our school is doing the work of "double reduction". First, we should do "5+1" well. First, let children complete their homework in school and do "5+1" well, so that parents have no worries.

Then we do the work of "5+2", "5+2", we set up some traditional cultural education such as Chinese painting, tie (dyeing) batik, folk dance, and paper cutting.

Children can be happy and successful at school.

Then after the "double reduction", our school has opened various special courses such as sports, music, and art.

Another teacher from our school and I also went to Yunnan and Guizhou to systematically study tie-dye and batik.

Tie-dye and batik are excellent traditional Chinese culture and intangible cultural heritage.

After returning, we can teach this handicraft to our students well, and let our students inherit this excellent traditional Chinese culture.

[Explanation] First outline the outline of the goldfish, then add the fins and tail, and finally embellish the water plants and duckweeds.

In the Chinese painting community, under the guidance of the teacher, the students can not only "paint the tiger according to the cat", but also understand the beauty of Chinese painting from their own perspective.

[Concurrent] Guan Sitong, a student of the No. 2 Primary School in Xingqing District, Yinchuan City

I joined the Chinese painting club last semester. It not only released my usual study pressure, but also made me experience the joy of Chinese painting.

I also learned about the center and side brushes of traditional Chinese painting, as well as a change of ink color in Chinese painting.

[Explanation] The introduction of traditional culture to the campus not only increases the knowledge of students, but also allows parents to gain something from it.

Wu Haixia, the student's parent, believes that in today's rapid development of science and technology, it is something to be proud of that children can learn about Chinese culture from "old" art.

My child participated in a school paper-cutting club. The art of paper-cutting is a traditional culture in our country. It seems to have been forgotten in our generation. Since the school organized this course, my children are particularly interested in this.

[Explanation] Since the implementation of the "Double Reduction" policy, middle and primary schools in Yinchuan City have successively launched after-school care interest classes for free, which not only relieves students' academic pressure, but also gives them more opportunities to receive artistic edification.
