[Explanation] The movements are short and powerful, both soft and hard, and good at close-fitting bunts... On March 27, a Sichuan boxing "Green Forest Martial Arts" class for teenagers and children was conducted under the leadership of Li Yangran, the sixth-generation inheritor of the Green Forest School of Wushu.

It is reported that the Lvlin style martial arts originated in Zhaogongshan, Qingcheng, Sichuan, with a history of about 130 years ago, and also enjoys the reputation of "green forest little hands" in the Sichuan martial arts circle.

At the end of the feudal period, a period of the end of the cold weapons, at that time, a large number of people who practiced martial arts adopted a form of gathering, including some peasant uprisings in the late Qing Dynasty, and then it formed a sect.

Therefore, it (Green Forest School martial arts) gradually formed such a boxing style at that time, with more punches and less legs, close-fitting bunts, and its entire movement is a kind of small hand chain.

That is, its movements are more coherent, tight, and small, and then hit some vital parts.

[Commentary] Li Yangran, who has been fond of traditional culture since childhood, began to practice martial arts at the age of 10, and officially joined the martial arts of the Lulin School in Ya'an, Sichuan at the age of 13.

From apprentice to inheritor, Li Yangran hopes to pass on the real kung fu he has seen and learned.

Because I have seen what heights can be achieved through this exercise, and then I used to practice, including when we went out to communicate, what kind of effect it can produce, in fact, I am still relatively clear in my heart.

So I think we have been able to represent a traditional martial arts school in Sichuan from the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty to today, especially a martial arts school that represents the characteristics of Sichuan traditional martial arts culture.

If it can be developed, I think it should also be a good inheritance of this local sports martial arts culture in Sichuan.

[Explanation] In 2009, the Green Forest School martial arts was listed as an intangible cultural heritage in Sichuan Province.

But Li Yangran is still a little worried about the inheritance and development of Lulin Wushu.

In Li Yangran's view, martial arts are divided into traditional martial arts and competitive martial arts. Nowadays, more people choose to practice competitive martial arts, which also makes most traditional martial arts in a state of "no one cares".

Because competitive martial arts can compete and perform, and in this competition, he will pass (pass) the athlete level in the future, and then he will be promoted a little higher, that is, he will be promoted to the level of athlete, go to school, even go to university, or even go as an athlete. To develop his career, it has a whole very clear context, but traditional martial arts do not.

Traditional martial arts may be in colleges or some schools. It may be used as a popularization of intangible cultural heritage. As a cultural project, it may be promoted and introduced, but it is actually a whole person's study and job-hunting career. Among them, it does not have a very good context.

[Explanation] At the same time, Li Yangran bluntly said that the opportunities for foreign exchanges also determine the living space of culture.

Although he has also led Green Forest School disciples to various places to demonstrate Green Forest School martial arts and teach martial arts fitness routines, and also performed the finale performance for former British Prime Minister Cherry Blair, there is still a lack of communication between Sichuan traditional martial arts schools.

How to "upgrade and transform" so that the local traditional martial arts can be "played" so that it can be passed on better has always been the most concerned issue for Li Yangran.

To this end, Li Yangran has made many attempts, but Li Yangran admitted that inheritance is a long process, and in the future, he will focus more on the inheritance and development of traditional martial arts.

In the case of traditional martial arts, it may be more accurate to retain it as a culture now.

Now, in fact, one of our main methods is the training of young people. On the one hand, our martial arts enter the campus, and the intangible cultural heritage enters the campus. We compile several routines of Lulin Wushu into a Lulin Wushu called Wushu Exercise, or it can be Martial arts routines can also be practiced between classes.

There are some martial arts clubs, and then we go to the school's martial arts clubs and we teach, and then we have our own martial arts hall, and then we go to pass on some things.
