"I discovered this song, I was very upset"

Frédéric Beigbeder remembers these remote exchanges: "In 2020, during confinement, I don't know why but we wrote e-mails to Françoise Hardy. We started to have a correspondence and very kindly, she sent me a CD that she had compiled, and where it was her favorite song."

The icon "has fun burning discs", says the writer, who therefore had the pleasure of receiving one of them from the French artist.

“I received it, and we were in the worst period of the worst confinement in all of history in April 2020”, confides the one who remains affected by this episode.

“We were completely distressed, and her in particular because in addition, she is sick”, continues the writer.

"So I discovered this song and there again, I was very, very upset. The violin arrangements, the little tambourine that comes in the middle. It's very folk-rock, it's dylanesque", describes Frédéric Beigbeder in reference to Bob Dylan, who is also an admirer of Françoise Hardy.
