Last year, a junior high school girl in Asahikawa City, Hokkaido, went missing, and after that, she was found dead in a park covered with snow. In response, he reported that he would "take up 6 items" as bullying to the students.

Last March, Sousai Hirose (14 at the time), a second-year junior high school student in Asahikawa, was found dead in a park in the city with snow, and the city's board of education set up a third-party committee. We have installed it and are investigating whether there was any bullying in the background.

According to the Asahikawa City Board of Education, on the evening of the 27th, a third-party committee interviewed the bereaved families with related children, students, faculty and staff, and targeted children who attended the same school as Mr. Sousai. As a result of the questionnaire, he reported that he would "take up 6 items" as bullying for Mr. Sousai.

The third-party committee hopes to publish more details later this week, taking into account the wishes of the bereaved family.

Shinichi Kurobata, the director of the Asahikawa City Board of Education, commented, "We take it seriously. We will work to strengthen measures against bullying and make every effort to restore trust in the educational administration."

In addition, Mayor Kansuke Imazu of Asahikawa City commented, "This is the first step to clarify the truth, and we take it very seriously. We would like to understand the details and take measures that are close to the bereaved family."

The third-party committee will continue to investigate the response of schools and city boards of education and measures to prevent recurrence.
