A train crushes a car after its driver follows the instructions of the navigation system in Germany

There is no doubt about the advantages of the navigational router, but following the instructions of this device literally sometimes leads to problems for the user of the device and sometimes to disasters, as happened with a woman who was driving her car using the navigational router.

A spokesman for Germany's Federal Police said on Sunday that the woman literally followed the device's instructions on Saturday evening, which led her to turn left prematurely, only to find herself parked in her car on railway tracks in the town of Fischlde in Lower Saxony.

When the woman noticed that the car was stuck in place, she got down to look for help, and shortly afterwards a high-speed train "ICE" attacked the car as the train was traveling at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour, and with speed and darkness the train driver did not have time to act.

The car was stuck under the locomotive as a result of the collision, while nothing happened to the 320 passengers on the train.

The work of recovering the car ended after about ten hours, and the accident led to delays in flights on the railway.

The Federal Police estimated the material losses resulting from the accident at 750,000 euros.
