A graduation ceremony was held on the 27th at the Tokushima Learning Center of the Open University of Japan, where students study the curriculum of the university using TV and the Internet, and a 99-year-old man who earned credits over 17 years graduated.

Eleven of the 25 graduates attended the graduation ceremony held at the Tokushima Learning Center of the Broadcasting University in Tokushima City, and the director of the center handed each of them a diploma.



Of these, Shimizu, who graduated from the psychology and education course, was 99 years old, and after enrolling at the age of 82 in 2005, he earned credits over 17 years.



She is the oldest graduate of the Tokushima Learning Center and was given a special prize by Mr. Shimizu.



Mr. Shimizu said, "Although it is a break, I would like to continue studying. I have been taken care of by a large number of people, so I would like to serve the society and give back."
