"We saw a blond guy, discolored. It was Renaud"

"We were a group of extras. We sometimes didn't give a damn about certain artists," smiles the radio and television host, who remembers an anecdote on the sidelines of a shoot.

"One day, we saw a blond, bleached guy coming. We were like, 'What is this guy?'

And then he sang

. It was Renaud, and we were flabbergasted. We were at attention, "recalls Laurent Baffie on Europe 1.

The director also remembers a similar story with Daniel Balavoine.

"It's memories like that. I heard

La groupie du pianiste

for the first time. I knew immediately that it was going to be a hit. We had little gifts like that", confides the artist at the microphone by Isabelle Morizet.

In the shadow of legendary actors

Laurent Baffie has also been an extra in films.

"It's very funny to hear about old extras who say: 'I did the last Delon', 'Ah, I did the last Belmondo'. It was funny to be an extra because it are a bit of failed actors", continues the host, who gently tackles this profession: "It's a bit touching to see people who speak like established actors, saying 'I made the last Delon' when 'They've only been two days."

And the comedian to indicate that he too had toured with the legendary French actor: "When I did a Delon, it was at Gare Montparnasse (for the film

Mort d'un pourri

, 1977, NDLR ) and I saw the film again one evening. You don't even see me. There were a lot of people, but I'm not in the plan", laughs Laurent Baffie today, who experienced a similar misadventure as an extra in a police truck for the film

by Philippe Noiret.
