At 18:00 on March 25, Yixing City, Jiangsu Province found a sample that was initially screened positive in the nucleic acid test of key personnel, and then immediately quarantined and controlled the personnel involved.
At 5:00 on March 26, the result of the review by the Wuxi CDC was positive, and the person was immediately transferred to a designated medical institution in Wuxi for isolation and treatment.
At 7:00 on March 26, after consultation with the Wuxi municipal expert group, the person was diagnosed as an asymptomatic infection of the new coronavirus pneumonia.
After investigation, the asymptomatic infected person Dong Moumou tested negative for nucleic acid on March 19, 21, and 23. He drove to and from the city where the medium and high-risk areas were located several times, and deliberately concealed his itinerary. He was suspected of obstructing the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases.
Yixing police have filed a case for investigation and will investigate his criminal responsibility according to law.
As of 10:00 on March 26, Yixing had investigated 35 close contacts of Dong Moumou, all of whom had implemented centralized isolation, completed nucleic acid sampling, and the results were all negative; 172 secondary close contacts had been investigated, and centralized isolation had been implemented. Nucleic acid sampling has been completed, and the results have been negative.
Nucleic acid tests were carried out in the relevant areas, and 1,070 people were sampled, and the results were all negative.
