On March 25, the Hong Kong Volunteer Organization Hong Kong Anti-epidemic Volunteer Alliance and the Hong Kong Community Anti-epidemic Connection, together with a number of Legislative Council members and related groups, launched the "United Anti-epidemic Caring for Me - Legislative Council Members Caring for the Elderly Living Alone" Day" event.
Thirty members of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, including Wu Qiubei, Zhang Guojun, Chen Xuefeng, and Ye Liu Shuyi, participated in the event, delivering anti-epidemic supplies and related assistance to the elderly living alone in 18 districts in Hong Kong, and calling on all sectors of society to give special care to the elderly living alone.
