A relevant person from Sichuan Airlines told reporters that the flight was an international cargo flight, and the model was Airbus A330. There were no passengers on the plane, only the crew.
At present, it is understood that the aircraft is only a minor mechanical failure, which does not affect the normal take-off and landing of the flight, but to ensure safety and prudence, it is allowed to return.
Due to the large amount of fuel on international flights, the plane circled over Chongqing before landing to consume fuel.
According to the "Fly Changzhun" APP, flight 3U3839 was originally scheduled to take off from Chongqing Jiangbei Airport at 5:30 on March 25, and was expected to arrive at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport at 9:30, but actually took off at 7:43 on the 25th. After takeoff, it will pass through Deyang, Longnan, Guangyuan and other places, and then return to Chongqing.
