Two Toshima Ward ward council members and two ward directors asked staff to join the party over a political fundraising party held by a former Liberal Democratic Party member who ran for the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly election last July. A total of four people were indicted briefly, including Soichiro Matsushita (41) and Hiromi Takeshita (62) of the Toshima Ward Assembly, and Toshima Ward's General Affairs Department Manager and Culture, Commerce and Industry Department Manager.



According to the people concerned, two of them, including the director of the ward in May last year, over the political fund party held by former Liberal Democratic Party member Hiromichi Hori, who ran for the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly election in July last year and was rejected. It means that they were asking the staff to participate through.



In addition, the two directors of the ward also distributed a sealed letter containing a party invitation to the section chief in the department, so in January, the Metropolitan Police Department gave four people and several other executives of the ward political funds. I was sending documents on suspicion of violating the regulation law.



And on the 24th, the four were briefly charged with violating the Political Funds Control Act.



Representatives Matsushita and Takeshita, who were the secretary-general and deputy secretary-general of the Liberal Democratic Party faction of the ward assembly, respectively, submitted a resignation request to the ward assembly secretariat on the 24th.



Also, according to the people concerned, dozens of ward executives paid 5,000 yen as a party membership fee.
