This Wednesday, March 23, M6 broadcast the sixth episode of season 13 of
Top Chef
.
Like every week,
20 Minutes
debriefs the highlights of the episode broadcast the day before.
Pressure, shot, cromesquis and laser cooking are back for the new season of
Top Chef
.
The thirteenth edition of the M6 culinary competition no longer relies on "daring" or "creativity" as in previous years, but quite simply on the radical side of the universe of its candidates and its trials to bring out the worthy successor to Mohamed Sheikh.
After a somewhat flat episode last week (it must be told the truth), the show found some good colors thanks to the event between Philippe Etchebest and Paul Pairet against all the competitors.
The mushroom gave some great ideas to the two team leaders since we were drooling over their porcini mushroom infusion penne stuffed with a mushroom duxelle.
But the candidates were not left out!
Were they able to dethrone the members of the jury?
Everyone took part in the second test prepared by Michaël Bartocetti, pastry chef of the most starred palace in Europe, the George V. There was a buzzing sound in the air as the pairs had to take the world of bees head on to make a dessert based on honey or even pollen.
The opportunity for Hélène Darroze to reveal all her talents as an insect imitator but also to embark on an unsavory tasting.
The candidates ranked in last position then had to compete around the salmon.
All this is to be discovered on video in the debrief of this sixth episode.
Don't watch if you don't want to be spoiled!
