On March 23, the China (Hebei)-UAE Industry Matchmaking Conference was successfully held in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province in the form of on-site participation + video broadcast + webcast.

At the meeting, Hebei Chamber of International Commerce and China Hebei Chamber of Commerce in the United Arab Emirates reached a cooperation intention to jointly build the Liaison Office of Hebei Chamber of International Commerce in the United Arab Emirates, and signed the "Agreement on Co-construction of the Liaison Office of Hebei Chamber of International Commerce in the United Arab Emirates" in the form of video.

  The main venue for this conference was set up in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, and branch venues were set up in Dubai, four free trade zones in Hebei Province, CCPIT and professional committees in various districts and cities.

About 140 representatives from 75 companies from China and Arab countries in 11 fields including steel, building materials, machinery, and electrical appliances attended the conference online and offline.

  Ahmad Hamza, executive director of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), said that over the years, the DMCC has played a key role in promoting the growth of trade between the two countries.

Nearly 600 Chinese companies have settled in the center.

In the future, the Dubai Multi-Commodity Exchange will continue to work closely with various investors.

  The conference opened 16 ZOOM online negotiation rooms. According to the cooperation intention of 16 Arab companies, 59 companies in Hebei Province were organized to conduct 4 rounds of more than 60 sessions with Arab companies in 11 fields such as steel, building materials, machinery, and electrical. One-on-one negotiation and docking, a total of 27 "memorandums of cooperation" were signed.
