  On December 17, 2021, the Wenchuan County Public Security Bureau received a clue from the Tianfu New District Public Security Bureau that some Wenchuan personnel used the Internet to organize cross-border gambling.

After receiving the clue, the Wenchuan County Public Security Bureau immediately set up a special class and contacted the suspect Zhang Moumou in the clue.

  At first, Zhang Moumou did not admit the crime.

"Suspects have certain anti-investigation capabilities. Whether it is online transactions or building groups, they will not use their identity information for registration and registration." He Genfu, head of the public security brigade of Wenchuan County Public Security Bureau, said.

  After more than a week of investigation and verification, the police found that a large number of gambling participants had an invitation-like relationship with Zhang Moumou, and confirmed Zhang Moumou's "partner" status.

  Through Zhang Moumou, the police further led to the entire black industry chain of cross-border online gambling.

The investigation found that the gang had a total of five people who belonged to the relationship of "netizens". One of them had a "criminal record" of opening casinos on the cross-border network, and the other four had participated in online gambling and had certain "resources".

  He Genfu introduced that in this case, the suspect registered a club on the "Panda Mahjong" APP, established a gambling platform, and then established a group through an overseas server to pay and settle the gambling money; finally, the partner and "handle" invited others Join the group to participate in gambling.

  The investigation shows that the gambling methods in this case are divided into playing mahjong and "running fast". Generally, two or four people play against each other, and the gambling method is selected in advance and the value of the points is stipulated.

"Generally speaking, a mahjong game is settled at 5 yuan per point, and 'running fast' is 3 yuan per point. If the win or loss of mahjong exceeds 12 points or the win or loss of 'running fast' exceeds 21 points, the proportion will be 10%. Take a cut." He Genfu said.

  After the case was filed, the police handling the case repeatedly traveled to Chengdu, Suining, Neijiang, Songpan and other places to carry out case investigation work.

  After three months of research and analysis, the police identified the suspect's means of committing crimes and organizational structure, and determined the criminal facts of the suspect.

On March 10, the Wenchuan County Public Security Bureau launched a unified network collection operation and arrested 3 criminal suspects.

  It was found out that from August to October 2021, the suspect Zhang Moumou, together with Li Moumou, Peng Moumou and others, for illegal profit, invited a total of 181 people to join the group, paid and settled more than 9.4 million yuan in gambling funds, and made a profit of 320,000 yuan from it.   "The difficulty of this case is that, firstly, the criminal suspects use overseas servers to charge fees, which is highly concealed and difficult to supervise; on the other hand, the case involves a wide area and a large number of people.
