The mildness of these first days of spring did not get the better of Covid-19 in Normandy.

The latest figures published by the Regional Health Agency are final.

In one week, the incidence rate increased by 38.8%.

From 792 cases per 100,000 inhabitants last week, the incidence rate now exceeds 1,100 cases.

Manche has the highest rate (1,326.4 cases, +26.3%), followed by Calvados (1,295.4 cases, +34.4%), Seine-Maritime (1,049.8 cases, +49 .4%), then Orne (1,045.1 cases, +29.8%).

As a result of the surge of this sixth wave, public transport in Caen (Calvados) has been idling since Wednesday.

Many drivers in the Twisto network are affected by the virus and unable to provide their service.
