In the 10th edition of the Sikka Art and Design Festival, which is organized under the slogan “We celebrate art, we celebrate prosperity”, inspiring masterpieces that add more charm and glamor to the Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood in Dubai, which hosts the activities of this festival, which has become one of the most prominent events Creative on the emirate's annual agenda.

The most notable of these is “Sedra Sekka Artistic Installations”, which includes three distinct installation works inspired by the visual identity developed for the festival in its current version;

It symbolizes the soul's journey through the virtual world, both the sacred and the mundane, through a group of spherical mirrors and celestial bodies made of Mylar balloons and hollow stainless steel spheres suspended on the branches of the Sidr tree.

Through her artwork made of glazed ceramic, which she called “The Beehive”, the Jordanian artist, Sherine Shalhoub, symbolizes the Al Fahidi neighborhood as a haven for arts, communication, growth and teamwork, where the hive finds itself a haven among the branches of Sidra Al Fahidi.

In her work of stacked balloons, Emirati artist Sarah Ahli raises the question of how our bodies occupy the spaces around us.

This artistic installation reflects the view of the human body in the modern era, and how it adapts to its environment.

As for Azza Al Qubaisi's abstract installation work entitled "Memories", it reflects the contrast between the old city and the extent to which the new cities differ in terms of their planning and arrangement.

It is a sculpture in the process of formation, emerging from an old building that forms the background of the work.
