In order to dig deep into the red resources of Yangjiagou, Chang Tianmin went to various places to investigate and carefully visited every village that the Party Central Committee and Mao Zedong passed through when he moved to northern Shaanxi.
"The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was in northern Shaanxi for 1 year and 5 days, traveling more than 1,000 kilometers, passing through 12 counties and 38 villages. I drove from the urban area of Yan'an, passed through Yanchuan, Qingjian, Zizhou, and Suide, and finally returned to Yangjiagou." Chang Tianmin said.
After that, Chang Tianmin went to some villages around Yangjiagou again and again and again and again, comparing the documents and materials, visiting the elderly again and again, excavating as many historical details as possible from the depths of their memories, and finally forming "Report on Red Resource Mining in Yangjiagou, Mizhi County" of 15,000 words.
Yangjiagou Revolutionary Site was officially opened to the public in 1978.
At present, the Yangjiagou Revolutionary Site has a total of 575 movable cultural relics.
"Protecting the revolutionary cultural relics is the first duty of the site administrator," Chang Tianmin said.
Yangjiagou revolutionary site has taken a series of measures in recent years to carry out daily protection and management of the revolutionary site, and to carry out cultural relics protection and repair to all revolutionary sites in stages, especially to strengthen daily maintenance and temperature and humidity monitoring, and to seal the paper cultural relics for protection. , the daily maintenance of the cultural relics on display in the showcase, effectively ensured the safety of the revolutionary cultural relics.
In order to better spread the essence of the value contained in Yangjiagou's red culture, Mizhi County will hold the "Great Strategic Transfer - From Yangjiagou to Xibaipo" themed tour exhibition in May 2021.
As the captain, Chang Tianmin led a team of more than 20 people to conduct themed tours successively at the Jinsui Revolutionary Memorial Hall in Caijiaya, Xing County, Shanxi Province, the Revolutionary Memorial Hall in the Jinchaji Border Area, Fuping County, Hebei Province, and the Xibaipo Memorial Hall in Pingshan County, Hebei Province. The personnel introduced the history of the battle and life of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Yangjiagou.
There is also a "on-site teaching team" in the Yangjiagou Revolutionary Memorial Hall.
There are currently 8 team members, in addition to Chang Tianmin, there are also two retired curators, local party history experts and the backbone of the memorial hall.
They actively carried out the activities of red culture entering the campus, entering the enterprise, entering the community, and entering the military camp, created allegro stories such as "Decision of the World in the December Meeting", and launched the "micro-party class" for party history learning and education.
