[Explanation] In view of the needs of epidemic prevention and control, Xiamen's New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic Work Headquarters recently issued a notice that from March 21 to 27, all personnel who go to work in the workplace must hold a negative nucleic acid test report.

Xiamen Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, a Taiwan-funded tertiary hospital located in Haicang District, Xiamen, responded to the call immediately and sent nearly 500 medical staff to support the nucleic acid testing work.

Please pay special attention to taking off the isolation gown, pay attention to your own safety, come back and contact the headquarters if you have anything, it is still the same, thank you.

[Explanation] Due to the lack of time, many medical staff were woken up in the middle of the night and rushed to the hospital to assemble in the shortest possible time.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic for more than two years, Cai Yinghuang, the director of Xiamen Chang Gung Hospital from Taiwan, has to see off medical staff every time, and like a parent, repeatedly told medical staff to pay attention to their own protection.

[Explanation] According to the arrangement of medical staff to go to their respective sampling points, put on protective clothing and set foot on the front line of nucleic acid work and keep busy.

These supporters also include more than 20 doctors and nurses from Taiwan, who voluntarily signed up for nucleic acid testing, and joined hands with mainland compatriots to protect the beautiful Xiamen.

The epidemic will not go away, and the war of resistance will continue.

Well, it has been several times to come out to support. Fortunately, the sky is beautiful and the weather is okay. Although it is very tired, it is very happy to help so many people.

[Concurrent] Taiwanese physician Liu Yongqi, director of the Radiology Department of Xiamen Chang Gung Hospital

Even the public, especially children, looked very scared of me when he came to collect nucleic acid, but when I asked him to open his mouth, he was very cooperative and brave, which I admired very much.

[Concurrent] Luo Shuhui, a Taiwanese physician, director of the Nursing Department of Xiamen Chang Gung Hospital

This epidemic has been going on for two consecutive years, and we have all been vaccinated, some have received three doses, and some have done a very good protection, I think we are not afraid.

[Explanation] Many of these Taiwanese medical nurses have participated in nucleic acid work many times. They admitted that the eight-hour nucleic acid process per shift is indeed tiring, but they are still very relieved in the face of optimistic people.

[Concurrent] Huang Xinying, a Taiwanese physician at Xiamen Chang Gung Memorial Hospital

The people are actually a little more optimistic, and they are actually quite cooperative, and every time we help him take tests, he will say thank you to us, and I am very pleased.

[Explanation] Guo Zijia, from Yunlin, Taiwan, went to the mainland to study in 2009, and began to work in traditional Chinese medicine in 2018.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, she has gone to the front line to support nucleic acid testing four times. This time, when she sampled nucleic acid samples for students at the school affiliated to the Haicang District Teacher Training School, she was pleasantly surprised by an unexpected gift.

In the process of collecting and testing, I met a primary school student and sent me a picture of the sun. At that time, I was actually very excited, because it was the first time I received such a message during the nucleic acid collection process. When I draw a picture of meaning, I keep thinking, oh my god, my hard work is not in vain.

[Explanation] Guo Zijia, who has been unable to calm down for a long time, specially took pictures of this painting and added special effects music to make a video to share it in the circle of friends when he was resting.

From the first time when the nucleic acid was a little unfamiliar to now as the captain leading the hospital's friends to fight the epidemic together, Guo Zijia told reporters that this is the mission she should undertake as a doctor.

This is what I originally wanted to do. You are willing to give your efforts to help these (people), or to make nucleic acids work better.

[Explanation] It is understood that nearly 500 doctors and nurses dispatched by Xiamen Changgung Hospital this time went to 33 sampling points in Haicang District, Xiamen. About 250,000 people were sampled in the four-day nucleic acid detection work.

Come on Xiamen!

Cheers Chang Geng!
