A former teacher at a high school in the Mainz area loses her pension because of the dissemination of ideas from the so-called Reich Citizens' Scene.

This was decided by the Higher Administrative Court (OVG) of Rhineland-Palatinate in Koblenz after a notification on Wednesday (3 A 10615/21.OVG).

Reich citizens doubt the existence of the Federal Republic as a legitimate and sovereign state.

According to the OVG, the civil servant, who retired in 2006, actively opposed the free democratic basic order about ten years later in two books and in letters from the authorities.

After a disciplinary action by the state, the administrative court in Trier recognized her pension.

The ex-director of studies appealed: she made her statements as a scientist and "critical democrat".

The Higher Administrative Court dismissed the appeal with its final judgment.

The statements "express contempt for the German state and its institutions".

The woman has repeatedly described Germany as a pseudo-state or non-state and alleged company with company structures.

She called the former Federal President Joachim Gauck a “managing director” and the democratic electoral system a “party electoral dictatorship”.

They rejected the constitutional order as “invalid”.

According to the verdict, the retirement officer thus violated her duty of loyalty even after retirement.

Nor can their defamation of the state and its institutions be justified by freedom of opinion or freedom of science.

Whether she sees herself as a Reich citizen is irrelevant.

According to an OVG spokesman, the former director of studies only has the option of supplementary insurance in the statutory pension insurance, with "extremely small" benefits compared to her pension.
