It has been 30 years since Yutaka Ozaki, a singer-songwriter who expressed the doubts and loneliness of the young people at that time in his works such as "15 Nights" and "Graduation", passed away.

At the exhibition that started in Tokyo on the 23rd, memos with handwritten lyrics were released.

The songs released by Mr. Ozaki in the 1980s received enthusiastic support from young people at that time, and even now, just 30 years after he died at the young age of 26, they are still popular with a wide range of generations.

At the exhibition venue, more than 200 items such as musical instruments and handwritten notebooks that Mr. Ozaki used in his lifetime were collected.

The lyrics of the hit song "I LOVE YOU" are written on loose-leaf, and there are traces of erasing and writing.

You can see how trial and error was repeated when writing the song.

Also, before and after the debut, the notes I wrote and practiced to learn the guitar are valuable materials that show the true face of Mr. Ozaki who worked on music seriously.

A male office worker in his 40s said, "For me, it's like a textbook for living. I feel like I've met him for the first time in a while, and I'm very happy."

The exhibition will be held at Matsuya Ginza in Ginza, Tokyo until April 4.
