In France, 53% of the inhabitants are thus in favor of the end of the obligation to wear a mask against Covid-19.
Among them, the youngest are those who most approve of this measure: they are indeed 70% among 18-24 year olds and 63% among 25-34 year olds against only 40% among retirees.
A more mixed report in stores
Regarding the end of the wearing of the mask in schools and in companies, the figures are slightly lower.
66% of French people are in favor of it for schools and 57% for the office.
However, 68% of respondents continue to wear the mask in their workplace: 36% all the time, and 17% only in meetings or in groups.
At the same time, if 46% of French people say they approve of the end of wearing a mask in stores, 75% of those questioned continue to wear it when they go shopping or shopping, notes the
