The Tohoku-Hokkaido Shinkansen resumed operation on some sections from the 22nd, and the closed section was shortened between Koriyama in Fukushima Prefecture and Ichinoseki in Iwate Prefecture.



For this section, JR East will use a special train on the conventional line for alternative transportation, and will operate three temporary rapid trains per day between Sendai and Ichinoseki on the Tohoku Main Line.
