  On the afternoon of March 21, Beijing time, China Eastern Airlines flight MU5735 lost contact over Teng County, Wuzhou City, Guangxi Province while performing the Kunming-Guangzhou flight mission.

It was confirmed by the Civil Aviation Administration of China that the plane crashed in Teng County. There were 132 people on board, including 123 passengers and 9 crew members.

  Lei Jiarong's nephew and son-in-law Liu Zhihong was a passenger on the crashed flight.

"We got the news at 4 o'clock in the afternoon and confirmed that Liu Zhihong was on the crashed flight, and we rushed over immediately." Lei Jiarong said.

  According to Lei Jiarong, Liu Zhihong just turned 30 years old and married his niece for half a year. His hometown is in Kunming, Yunnan, and his work unit is in Guangzhou. He is the chief financial officer of a local company.

He took this flight that day to return to work.

  At about 0:40 a.m. on the 22nd, Lei Jiarong and other four family members arrived in Teng County, where the flight crashed. The relevant local staff arranged for the family members to stay at the reception hotel and delivered meals.

At 16:00 on the 22nd, four other family members also arrived in Teng County.

  After the crash of the China Eastern Airlines passenger plane, rescue forces from many places rushed to Guangxi. While the rescue was carried out overnight, the contact of family members and the handling of emergency situations were also carried out simultaneously.

  A reporter from Chinanews.com visited on the 22nd and learned that at present, many hotels in Tengxian County have been arranged as temporary reception hotels for the families of flight passengers. Many family members of flight MU5735 passengers have arrived in Tengxian and stayed in hotels.

  A hotel located on Luoshan 6th Street, Teng County, has been closed to the public since March 21, and family members of flight passengers have been staying.

The staff of relevant local departments will provide related services to the families of passengers in the hotel.
