Aichi Prefecture announced that it has been confirmed that 940 new coronaviruses have been infected in the prefecture.
It is the first time since January 12th that the number of infected people announced in a day has fallen below 1,000.
A total of 390,735 people have been confirmed to be infected in Aichi Prefecture.
In addition, Aichi Prefecture, Nagoya City, and Okazaki City announced that a total of three infected people, including the elderly, had died.
