Ah, Marseilles.

Marseille and its many specificities that make it a city that never leaves you indifferent.

Speaking of specificities, there is one that the municipality has announced that it wants to end in the 1st and 7th arrondissements by 2024: the (legal) parking of cars half-sidewalk, half-floor.

It is true that in the city center it is more convenient for pedestrians to walk on the road.

An experience validated by a study by the “Place au Pedestrian” collective, which classified Marseille as “the least walkable city in France”.

But then as long as you are with a stroller, on a crutch, or in a wheelchair, it becomes frankly dangerous in addition to being unpleasant.

We wanted to ask your opinion on this end of parking, which some would describe as anarchic.

Would you be in favor of such a device?

What purpose ?

Also, removing spaces is one thing, but in a city built, in many ways, for the car, what to do with these?

What solutions would you consider?

Downtown residents, what do you think?

How could the municipality go about achieving this smooth transition?

Should underground car parks be built?

Aerial?

In short, express yourself on this objective.
