Kagawa Prefecture announced on the 21st that it was confirmed that 194 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
It was also announced that a man over the age of 90, who had previously been confirmed to be infected, died.
Infection was confirmed in 26,513 people in Kagawa prefecture, and 101 people died.
