As Russia's military invasion of Ukraine continued, a group of high school students learning about peace submitted a protest signature to the Russian embassy calling for the end of the war.

On the morning of the 21st, 16 people gathered near the Russian embassy in Minato-ku, Tokyo, including members of the "High School Peace Seminar" to learn about war and peace through fieldwork and study sessions.

High school students protested to the embassy by holding up a piece of paper with a message such as "against the war" and saying "NO WAR".

He then posted a protest signature in English and Japanese to President Putin, saying, "We protest against the military invasion of Ukraine and the threat of using nuclear weapons. Please stop the war immediately."

The signature was called through SNS etc., and it means that more than 5,000 brushes were collected in about a week.

Chihiro Tahara (18), a third-year high school student in Tokyo who conducted the signing activity, said, "I think President Putin is most afraid of the public opinion of young people, so I want him to stop the war as a high school student in a war-affected country. There are people in Russia who are complaining about the anti-war at the risk of their lives, so I think they were able to reach out to us in the sense of solidarity. "
