Six months after the debacle caused by the precipitous withdrawal from Afghanistan, NATO is in full redemption, nevertheless confronted with completely new geostrategic data, neutralized by the Russian nuclear threat, thus giving an image of loss of power.

Afghan fiasco, provocations in recent years by Turkey, a turbulent member of the Alliance, divisions between those of its members who swear by it, and those like France who would like to develop a European defense.

NATO, what use is it?

The question arises as we also wonder about its strengths and weaknesses at a time when the conflict in Ukraine is moving the lines everywhere in Europe, even in the countries which until then cultivated a certain neutrality.

How did the Russian invasion of Ukraine change the situation for the Atlantic Alliance, born in 1949, as a political alliance and then as a military organization against the Soviet bloc?
