By order of the judiciary .. “Facebook and Instagram” banned in Russia

A Russian court on Monday banned the platforms Facebook and Instagram as "extremists".

The court accepted a request in this regard submitted by the Russian public prosecutor.

It is noteworthy that the two platforms are already blocked in Russia.

According to the court, the decision issued does not apply to the WhatsApp messaging service, also owned by the American Meta Group.

This step by the Russian judiciary came against the backdrop of Meta's decision to allow the publication of calls for violence against Russian forces in Ukraine.

It is reported that the Twitter SMS service is also not available in Russia.
