  China News Service, Nanning, March 21 (Reporter Yang Chen) The reporter learned from the Emergency Management Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on the afternoon of the 21st that a Boeing 737 passenger plane of China Eastern Airlines fell in Teng County, Wuzhou City, Guangxi, and caused a mountain fire.

At present, rescue teams have assembled and approached, and the casualties are unknown.

  The Civil Aviation Administration of China announced that on the same day, a Boeing 737 of China Eastern Airlines lost contact over Wuzhou, Guangxi during the Kunming-Guangzhou flight.

The plane has now been confirmed to have crashed.

There were 132 people on board, including 123 passengers and 9 crew members.

The Civil Aviation Administration has activated the emergency mechanism and dispatched a working group to the scene.

  The reporter also learned from the fire department of Teng County, Guangxi that the villagers called the police at about 14:30 that day, saying that the wreckage of the plane was found in Conan Town.

  As of 16:00, Wuzhou City Teng County Fire Department, Nanning City Fire Rescue Detachment, Guangxi Armed Police Corps Wuzhou Detachment and other forces are rushing to the scene for rescue.
