The decline in the health crisis allows Odysséa to find the crowd.

For its first French edition of the year, the famous race against breast cancer brought together more than 15,000 participants this Sunday morning in Nantes.

Registrants, recognizable by their pink t-shirts, could participate in timed events ranging from 5 to 10 km.

Departures and arrivals took place in Cours Saint-Pierre, a stone's throw from the cathedral.

Apart from the race itself, one of the highlights of the event is always the spectacular collective warm-up, all in rhythm and in good spirits.

The 2022 edition in Nantes raised just over 92,000 euros, announce the organizers.

All the funds are redistributed to actions for the benefit of the fight against breast cancer, whether to improve patient care or research.

In 2021, the Nantes race, which had brought together a little less people, had still raised 82,000 euros.

And since the first edition, 15 years ago, more than 950,000 euros have been collected in Nantes.

Odysséa is organizing ten races in France this year.

The next stage will start from Toulouse on April 3.

The Parisian edition is set for October 1st.
