Around 6 am on the 19th, a one-box car with four men overturned on the up line of the Hokuriku Expressway in Kashiwazaki City.



The car also hit a guardrail, the left side of the car was severely broken, and what appeared to be car parts were scattered on the road.



According to police, three men in the car were taken to the hospital in this accident, of which Takashi Yajikawa (70) from Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture and Manabu Saito (56) from Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture. Death was confirmed.



Another man was slightly injured.

Due to this accident, the up line of the Hokuriku Expressway was closed for about 5 hours between the Kashiwazaki interchange and the Kakizaki interchange until 11:00 am.
