Phil Collins is currently touring Europe with fellow Genesis bandmates Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks as the band's farewell tour.

Wednesday evening was held at Paris La Défense Arena the first of two Parisian concerts, and

Le Parisien

was there.

The newspaper met fans from all over France, attended the concert and when the singer attacked Vladimir Putin directly.

The group indeed played its title

Land Of Confusion

, composed in 1986 in the middle of the Cold War, and Phil Collins explained that if they had played this piece at the start of the tour in connection with the Covid and disinformation in the United Kingdom, he was now speaking directly to Vladimir Putin.

And if that wasn't clear enough, the singer dropped a "He's a fucking idiot" to the applause of the public, who also did not fail to whistle the Russian president.
